ENEA is the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, among the largest public research institutions in Italy, with about 2,500 researchers, technologists and support staff, 17 territorial offices over most of the national territory and 1 in Brussels, 13 research centers equipped with experimental facilities, large laboratories and advanced instrumentation for studies, tests, evaluations, analyses, projects and services for the development and competitiveness of the Country System.

KEMEA (RTO) is the think-tank on homeland security policies of the Ministry of Citizen Protection (MCP); R&D in National and European projects in close cooperation with LEAs as per Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) dated 22/07/2015 between KEMEA and the Hellenic Police; training of practitioners in new technologies.

University of Bari “Aldo Moro” (UNIBA) is a public university founded in 1925. The Department of Pharmacy - Pharmaceutical Sciences, involved in the NARCOSIS project, is the scientific and educational structure that provides consistent references to students interested in the knowledge, design, preparation, and use of pharmaceuticals, carrying on the legacy of the ancient and rich history of the Faculty of Pharmacy, with its 90 years of existence at the UNIBA.

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd (VTT), is a state owned and controlled non-profit limited liability company established by law. Act on the Limited Liability Company Called VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd (8761/2014) lays down provisions on the operations and status of VTT (this Act enters into force 1st of January 2015 and supersedes the Act on the Technical Research Centre of Finland 953/2010 and all amendments subsequently made to it). The Ministry of Employment and the Economy is responsible for state ownership steering.

DIN e.V. (Deutsches Institut für Normung) is Germany's national standards body, responsible for developing and promoting standards that enhance quality, safety, and interoperability. As a non-profit organization, it collaborates with government, industry, and international organizations, representing Germany in global standardization bodies like ISO and IEC.

Polícia Judiciária (PJ) is the Portuguese higher criminal police body, hierarchically organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Justice. PJ’s mission consists on assisting the judicial and prosecuting authorities with investigations, by developing and promoting preventive, detection and investigative actions. As a criminal investigation police force, PJ has reserved competence for the investigation of serious and organized crime in general. Over the past few years PJ has accumulated experience by participating in several R&D projects under programs funded at European level (FP7, H2020, HEU) and at national level (PT2020).

Hanoch Senderowitz is a full professor in the Department of Chemistry at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. For the last 30 years he has been working in the areas of computational chemistry, molecular modelling, computer aided molecular design, chemoinformatics, materials informatics and forensic informatics, both in the industry and in the academia. Thus, he has gained much experience in most of the methodologies commonly used in these fields and was able to successfully apply them in numerous research projects.

UCSC-FT Laboratory, ISO:9001 certified, has demonstrated decades of experience in the analysis of bulk confiscations and of various biological samples for the identification of drugs and metabolites, including NPSs.
