Work Packages

The NARCOSIS Action builds on top of existing work and technologies developed by partners, herein adapted to meet the NARCOSIS’s specific needs. The work plan is structured into 7 WPs, which are conducted continuously during the project:

Work Packages scheme

WP1 - Project management

WP1 dealing with project monitoring and control activities, consortium management, quality assurance of deliverables and security screening.

WPs 2 to 5 deal with the realisation of research, development, and adaptation work to produce the NARCOSIS technological components.

WP2 - Needs, specifications and practitioners support

WP2 defines the foundational knowledge (e.g., use-cases, KPIs, threats) to support the technological development and adaptations. The system specifications and design will be generated in close collaboration with practitioners (as part of a co-creation process).

WP3 - Sample preparation and measurements

WP3 deals with adaptations of several analytical instruments (e.g., IR, Raman, HRMS) to meet the NARCOSIS needs and creation of the AI-assisted databases.

WP4 - NARCOSIS Platform, AI and Shared Databases

WP4 will provide an IT platform, AI models and interfaces connecting all system components, achieving the NARCOSIS needs.

WP5 - Validation and Demonstration, Training and Evaluation

WP5 includes the studying of target chemical substances and standard reference materials (SRMs) to use in validation, performing frequent validation activities and conducting testing.

WP6 - Impact, Dissemination, Diffusion and Standardisation
